Locked at #1

Today is the last day of the first quarter of 2016.

How is that possible?

I keep double-checking myself to make sure it’s really the end of the first quarter. I guess the calendar doesn’t lie!

The spring market hit in January this year and our entire team of Realtors has been nose-to-the-grind working like crazy. In desperate need of a celebration, we put together a team-building exercise.

Enter Locked.

If you’re wondering what I am referring to here is a quick description from their website (www.lockedmanhattan.com):

“The idea behind escape room games is that you and your friends are locked in a room which is filled with puzzles that will lead to your hopeful escape. You have one hour to investigate the room, piece together clues, and solve puzzles in order to find your way out.”

I know what you’re thinking… Put 10 Realtors into a locked room and work together to escape.

Piece of cake, right?

Not exactly!

While we were super close to completing the puzzle, we flat out failed to get the job done. However, it was so enlightening to me to watch the different personalities of each agent emerge and come to light.

I’ll be honest, I thought the whole thing was going to be absolutely disastrous but I was completely wrong. Thrust into an unknown environment with your co-workers while literally trying to find, piece together & solve multiple clues was mesmerizing to watch. To my surprise, we were able to mesh easily with one another and successfully worked well together despite our inability to finish within the allotted time frame.

Success you say? But how?

You’re right.

We did fail to solve the puzzle but we agreed in unison we are much better suited in the real estate world solving YOUR problems and puzzles.

We may be losers of Locked, but as of today, we are flat out winning as a real estate company sitting at the #1 spot.

Yes, you read that correct.
